Reflections and heartfelt shares from my time spent reconnecting to a place that was once my home.

The foothills of the Himalayas...

From the livelinesses of Haridwar we transitioned into the solitude and expanse of Singtali, a town closer to the foothills of the Himalayas.

Arriving here was like a whole body exhale for me. I am completely in awe and wonder at the beauty and vastness of creation.

How great thou art.

Here we are held in the sweet embrace of these mountains, with Ma Ganga flowing by our side.

Here we rested and practiced a slower pace.

Daily yoga by the sacred river, moments of offering and prayers by her side. It was humbling to be spending our days amongst this majestic and potent landscape.

It’s a part of India that many don’t get to experience.

So much ancient wisdom oozing out of these ancient landscapes.

My next visit into these mountains is on the cards. I look forward to returning and travelling deeper into these landscapes.

Jai Guru Dev 🙏🏽✨

Today we stand in footsteps millennia old. May we acknowledge the traditional owners whose cultures and customs have nurtured, and continue to nurture, this land, since men and women awoke from the great dream. We honour the presence of these ancestors who reside in the imagination of this land and whose irrepressible spirituality flows through all creation.

My Yoga Space pays respect to the Dharawal, Gundangurra and Darug Nations on whose land we live and work.
